Copper Nickel 70/30 (UNS C71500) tube fittings are made up of 70% copper and 30% nickel along with traces of iron and manganese to provide strength and resistance to corrosion. They have tensile strength of 485 MPa, yield strength of 195 MPa and elongation of 30%, providing toughness to withstand stress conditions. They possess a density of 8.94 g/cm³, a melting point between 1170–1240°C, and a thermal conductivity of 29 W/m·K.
