Titanium Grade 5 Sheet and Plate, or Ti-6Al-4V, consists of 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium. The alloy offers higher strength, corrosion resistance, and good weldability. Mechanical properties are tensile strength of about 900 MPa, yield strength of 830 MPa, and elongation of 10-15%. With a density of 4.43 g/cm³, Titanium Grade 5 provides a lightweight yet strong solution. It outperforms at high temperatures and possesses superior corrosion and oxidation resistance, which recommends it for chemical processing, marine, and aerospace applications.
