Titanium Grade 2 Tubes consist of 99.2% pure titanium with traces of iron, oxygen, and nitrogen. The constituents provide superior resistance to corrosion in acidic and marine environments. It has a tensile strength of about 430 MPa, yield strength of 275 MPa, and elongation between 20-25%. Their density is 4.43 g/cm³, making the tubes light with high strength. Titanium Grade 2 has outstanding resistance to oxidation and is very reliable in harsh environments and, therefore, finds application in chemical processing, marine, aerospace, and medical uses.
