Titanium Gr 2 Fasteners are commercially pure titanium (99.2%), with minor amounts of iron (0.1%), oxygen (0.18%), and nitrogen. The mechanical properties are 345 MPa tensile strength, 275 MPa yield strength, and elongation of 20%. Physical properties are a density of 4.51 g/cm³, melting point of 1,668°C, and high corrosion resistance in seawater, chlorine, and other aggressive chemicals. These fasteners have high strength-to-weight ratios, reliability, and durability and are therefore suitable for aerospace, marine, and chemical processing applications.
