Nimonic Bar is a nickel-based high-performance alloy, consisting mainly of 75-80% nickel, with chromium (18-22%), titanium (1-3%), and aluminum (1-2%) as major alloying elements. The above composition offers good strength and oxidation resistance at high temperatures. Mechanical properties are tensile strength of 1,000-1,400 MPa, yield strength of 800-1,000 MPa, and elongation of 15-25%. Hardness is 250-300 HB. Physically, Nimonic Bar has good creep resistance, fatigue strength, and thermal stability, which makes it suitable for aerospace, gas turbines, and other high-temperature industrial applications.
