Inconel Alloy 617 Fasteners consist mainly of nickel (50-60%), chromium (20-23%), and iron, with the addition of cobalt (12-15%), molybdenum (8-10%), and trace amounts of aluminum, titanium, and carbon for added strength and resistance. Mechanically they possess great tensile strength (up to 1030 MPa), excellent yield strength (300-450 MPa), and good elongation (up to 50%). Physically Inconel 617 bolts possess high melting point (~1350°C), low thermal expansion, and exceptional resistance to oxidation, scaling and thermal fatigue, guaranteeing reliability in harsh conditions.
