Haynes 25 (L605) bar is a cobalt superalloy with superior high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance to 980°C and excellent wear resistance. Its chemical composition consists of cobalt (base), 20% Cr, 15% W, 10% Ni and trace amounts of iron, manganese and carbon. Its tensile strength is approximately 1275 MPa, yield strength 445 MPa and elongation 45%. The alloy has a density of 9.13 g/cm³, a melting range of 1330-1410°C and a thermal conductivity of 7.4 W/m·K, which makes it suitable for aerospace, combustion chambers and turbine parts.
