Super Duplex Steel Wire is an advanced alloy consisting mainly of 50% austenite and 50% ferrite, the major elements of which are chromium (20-22%), molybdenum (3-5%), and nickel (4.5-6.5%). Its remarkable mechanical properties are characterized by high tensile strength (up to 800 MPa), high resistance to stress corrosion cracking, and excellent toughness under high-pressure and high-temperature environments. Physically, it provides high density (approximately 7.8 g/cm³), outstanding pitting and crevice corrosion resistance, and can endure severe environments like seawater and acid mediums. It is thus suitable for harsh industrial applications.
