Inconel 718 forged fittings are primarily made up of nickel (50-55%), chromium (17-21%), iron, and traces of molybdenum, niobium, titanium and aluminum, which increase the strength and corrosion resistance. They have very good mechanical properties with tensile strength of approximately 1375 MPa, yield strength of 1100 MPa and hardness of up to 44 HRC. They have the following physical properties: density of 8.19 g/cm³, melting range of 1260-1336°C, and superior oxidation resistance. These characteristics make Inconel 718 forged fittings suitable for aerospace, marine and high-temperature uses.
