Inconel 617 Forged Fittings are forged from a nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloy that has superior high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance. Their composition is ~44.5% Ni, 22% Cr, 12.5% Co, 9% Mo, with traces of Al, Ti and Fe. Their mechanical properties are tensile strength of ~750 MPa, yield strength of ~345 MPa and elongation of ~50%. Physical characteristics consist of a density of 8.3 g/cm³, a melting point range of 1332–1380°C and great heat stability, which makes them suitable for aerospace, power generation and chemical applications.
