Beryllium copper foil is an alloy of copper (97–99%) and beryllium (0.2–2.0%), with the addition of cobalt or nickel as possible additions for superior properties. It possesses high mechanical strength, tensile strength of 410–1380 MPa, high fatigue life, and hardness of up to 400 HV. Its physical characteristics involve a density of 8.26 g/cm³, thermal conductivity of 105–210 W/m·K, and electrical conductivity of 16–60% IACS. This alloy finds broad application in aerospace, electronics, and precision instruments due to its excellent conductivity and strength.
