Alloy C263 foil is a cobalt-nickel-chromium-molybdenum-based superalloy with a focus on high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance. It has the following composition: nickel (base), cobalt (19-21%), chromium (19-21%), molybdenum (5.6-6.1%), titanium (1.9-2.4%) and aluminum (0.6%), with minute amounts of boron and carbon. Mechanically, it is excellent in creep resistance, tensile strength, and weldability. The benefits of Alloy C263 foil are excellent resistance to oxidation through 1650°F (900°C), very good thermal stability, and excellent formability and, therefore, suited for applications in aerospace, gas turbines, combustion chambers, and high-temperature industrial processing.
