Nitinol Tube is an alloy with a composition mainly of 50-60% nickel and the rest titanium. It is well recognized for its shape-memory and superelastic behavior, which enable it to resume a shape of choice upon heating. Its mechanical properties are a tensile strength of around 550-1,000 MPa and an elongation of 10-30%. Nitinol has good fatigue properties and high resistance to corrosion. Physically, it possesses a density of approximately 6.45 g/cm³ and has a melting point of 1,400-1,450°C. Due to these features, it finds its application in medical devices, robotics, and aerospace.
