Tungsten Foil is composed of high-purity tungsten (W) having an average purity of 99.9% or more. Tungsten possesses a density of 19.25 g/cm³ and a melting point of 3,422°C, which renders it one of the most heat-resistant metals. Mechanical attributes involve tensile strength ranging from 500-900 MPa, with little elongation (1-10%). It is very resistant to corrosion, oxidation, and wear. Tungsten foil is light but tough, with superior thermal conductivity and electric properties, making it well suited to aerospace, electronics, and high-temperature uses.
