Inconel 617 pipe fittings contain nickel (44.5%), chromium (22%), cobalt (12.5%), molybdenum (9%) and iron with minute contents of aluminum, titanium and carbon. The fittings possess high mechanical properties with tensile strength of 655 MPa, yield strength of 310 MPa and elongation of 45%. The fittings are highly resistant to oxidation and corrosion at high temperatures. Their physical characteristics are a density of 8.3 g/cm³, thermal conductivity of 11.2 W/m·K and melting range of 1332–1380°C, which qualifies them for harsh heat and pressure uses.
