70/30 Copper Nickel Bars are made up of 70 copper and 30 nickel, combined with minute percentages of iron and manganese to develop strength, anti-corrosive properties, and durability. They possess great mechanical properties, with tensile strength of 485 MPa (min), yield strength of 135 MPa (min), and elongation of 30% (min), providing them with flexibility and toughness. Physical properties include 8.94 g/cm³ density, a melting point in the range 1170-1240°C, and very high thermal as well as electrical conductivity, hence suitable for use in high-performance and harsh applications.
